I appeared on the Dr. Oz show in November 2010. I was a guest on the show “Secrets of the Skinny”. The show was about people that lost large amounts of weight naturally, without surgery. On the show we talked about craving killers, metabolism boosters, must have meals, and a exercise secret weapon.
These are the two recipes that I made on the Dr Oz show!
I cup non-fat plain yogurt
I cup non-fat milk
I envelope ranch dressing mix (any package of dry dressing mix that would require mayonnaise)
Mix all ingredients, cool 1 hour.
(If dip consistency is desired, use non-fat cottage cheese for the milk)
Black Bean Brownies
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 350
Pour drained beans into a blender, set on puree and blend until smooth. Add in the rest of the ingredients and continue blending until evenly mixed. Pour bean mixture into a greased 8 x 8 pan. Bake in oven 30 minutes, or until toothpick placed in the center comes out clean.
(If vegan simply replace bananas for the eggs.) Let them cool and enjoy!!
